In this quiet, I have found that ideas become clear, and words come more naturally. Our many guests have included writers, directors, artists, screenwriters, and musicians. They all tell us the same thing: it was captivating and inspiring. The creativity ran wild and plentiful. I cannot express enough how much joy this brings us!

It has a complete library and an acre of gardens with old trees. Every element, from the gorgeous kitchen to the claw-foot tub, is designed to inspire. The fireplace is especially so. Every convenience for a creative deep dive is nearby. They guarantee equal comfort and inspiration.
My favourite places to reflect are under the trees or on the grass. There, I have a picnic blanket, cushions, and music from inside. One cool side benefit of old churches? They have wicked acoustics! The other is by the fire in the winter months. The fireplace oozes ambiance. I have two favourite chairs. One is a big, retro red leather one that hugs you. The other is a dark blue velvet couch big enough for two people to sleep on. Plush velvet, need I say more? The nightsky is vast on a clear night. It’s full of crisp stars and a hefty dollop of the milky way. So, sitting under the stars with a warm mug of hot chocolate is great.
Apart from inspiration, the scenery of Panmure and South Western Victoria provide a therapeutic effect. Being in nature, breathing fresh air, and feeling the ground under your feet can rejuvenate the mind and spirit. Writers often carry the weight of their stories and the toll of their work. For them, this healing ability is important.
